Allentown Presbyterian Church is a vibrant community of faith, where hundreds of people from a multitude of backgrounds and ages gather to worship and follow Jesus.  For over 300 years APC has proclaimed the love of Jesus to the greater Allentown community and today we uniquely blend our rich history with a youthful spirit to make the story of God’s love relevant for all.  Recognizing that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, our mission is to help one another Grow in Christ. Peace on Earth

Amidst the busyness of the Christmas season, anxiety and division in our culture, war abroad, and difficult parts of our own lives we are reminded of this ancient promise from the prophet Isaiah: "to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (9:6). Jesus, God in the flesh, entered human history to pave a way to peace with ourselves, with one another, and with God... and to show us that Way.
He wants us to experience it today! Join us this Advent as we seek the one who offers "peace on earth."

Adult Education Class: Peace Is...

Join us for our three-week Advent Adult Education series as we explore and practice some dimensions of the peace that Jesus offers. We meet from 9:45-10:45 am in Schulte Hall. Peace is being playful, peace is slowing down, and peace is a Person. Come resist the anxiety and busy-ness that this season so often brings and experience peace.
