Sundays beginning March 5th—9:45 AM
The Easter Experience: What if what happened then changes everything now? This class offers an opportunity to see the concerns, challenges, and issues we face every day in a new light. Watching a mini movie narrated by Kyle Idleman each week, this series centers around the passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ in a fresh, compelling way.
Ending Well: The Spirituality and Reality of Death and Dying
This six-week class will explore some of the complex and important issues brought on by the end of life. For anyone who has cared or is caring for aging loved ones, or is at a time of thinking about his/her own mortality, this class will harness a wealth of spiritual, medical and cultural resources to provide thoughtful, prayerful and helpful reflection on the inevitable questions we all eventually face. What does the Bible say about death? Do Christians have a different perspective on grief? Is it okay to not treat someone even if it could prolong their living? Am I prepared to die? This class will be led by Rev.Stephen Heinzel-Nelson and Dr. Sarah Vick.
