CURRENT SERIES

Sermon Series: Loving the Least…The Call of Matthew 25

Sundays, 2/26/23 – 4/2/23

For Lent we will explore one of Jesus’ greatest and most challenging parables. Found in Matthew 25, Jesus teaches that loving the “least of these” — the hungry, sick, lonely and others on the margins of society — is the essence of our relationship with Him. In this series of messages we will explore the biblical and practical dimensions of this parable as we grow in loving the least.

Join us Sunday mornings:

Worship

Who we worship guides how we worship: Our services reflect God’s unique and creative nature.
Who we worship guides how we worship: Our services reflect God’s unique and creative nature.

Worship is the centerpiece of our spiritual lives.  Jesus taught us that to love God is the first and most important commandment; we do that when we worship.  Worship at APC is informal – don’t feel you have to get dressed up; just come.  Worship at APC is diverse – prepare to be surprised each week. Worship at APC is relevant – prepare to be taught and inspired each week.

Intergenerational

We believe our children and youth are not only the future of the church: They are vital to the church of today.
We believe our children and youth are not only the future of the church: They are vital to the church of today.
APC is a church that loves kids. We have one of the largest and most outstanding ministries to young disciples in New Jersey. Jesus taught that we are all God’s children and that you don’t have to be old enough to know and follow Him.  There are many opportunities to become involved whether it be through our Little Tree Preschool, children’s ministries, youth and young adult ministry, or family ministry.

Spiritual Growth

We believe faith is a journey, not a destination: Fellow travelers welcome.
We believe faith is a journey, not a destination: Fellow travelers welcome.

We are all at different places on our spiritual journey.  Whether you are a skeptic, a new believer, or seasoned Christ-follower, there are many opportunities to grow in your relationship with Jesus at APC.  Check out all of the classes for adults as well as age specific classes for students of all ages.

Welcome to Allentown Presbyterian Church where we are Growing in Christ! Our mission is to help you and your family grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Even though APC has been around for a long time, over 300 years, we are a church with a youthful spirit and a deep love for one another and for God. Whether you are just checking out Christianity, or are a seasoned believer; whether you are two years old or ninety-two, you will find ministries to help you grow more and more to become the person God created you to be. Worship with us on Sunday at 8:30 am Online & In-Person and 11:00 am In-Person.
