Sermon Series: Pardon the Interruption
Sundays, Starting April 27th
As humans, we don’t always welcome interruptions. They mess with our agendas, our carefully balanced schedules, and our expectations. But could some of these interruptions be God attempting to get our attention? What if allowing ourselves to be interrupted by the needs of others were exactly the kind of divine detours Jesus was calling us to take? The announcement of Jesus’ resurrection interrupted the course of history. It was unexpected and disruptive to his first followers, and it continues to interrupt our lives today.
Join us as we explore how the good news of Jesus’ resurrection changes our own trajectories, expectations, and priorities.

Adult Education Series: The Things That Make for Peace
Sundays, April 27 - May 11th
This series focuses on the inner and outer path to peace as foundational to faithful discipleship. Our newly re-named "Working Group on Restorative Justice" (formerly "Working Group on Racial Justice") will be teaching and leading this class. They will share more about the reasons for the name change during the class. This change is not meant to shift or shadow focus from the important, complex issue of racial justice, but instead add to the ability to learn from, strive for, and serve those who are seeking justice of all kinds. Restorative justice, in particular, is a way of addressing harm, conflict, or injustice that focuses on acknowledgement, healing, and repair.
