You are invited to worship the risen King with us!
Crossroads Grand Opening
We are all at different places on our spiritual journey. Whether you are a skeptic, a new believer, or seasoned Christ-follower, there are many opportunities to grow in your relationship with Jesus at APC. Check out all of the classes for adults as well as age specific classes for students of all ages.
Following our series on the Ten Commandments, this Lent we look at some of the commandments
of Jesus. Jesus uses the commandments of the Old Testament as a
starting point as he reinterprets and redefines the landscape of God’s
intention for human life and growth. Let us once again hear the voice
of the Master as He guides us and compels us to follow the path that
leads to life.
Feb 18 Thou Shalt Not Covet/What’s in Your Heart?
In Matthew 15:10-20 Jesus says that it is the internal world of thought and intention that
ultimately leads to sinful behavior. We need to pay attention to things
that are in our hearts.
February 25 Follow me! Matthew 4:18-22
This is the Great Invitation.
Do we have the courage to go wherever He leads us?
March 4 But I say to you…
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus
challenges the common interpretation of the letter of the law to get at
the spirit of the law or the heart of the matter.
Jesus invites Peter to step out of the boat and come.
Do we have the courage to face our fears? (Matthew 14)
March 18-The Golden Rule/The Great Commandment

March 25-You should do as I have done to you (washing the feet)
John 13:1-15 On Palm/Passion Sunday we focus on these words from the
Holy Thursday gathering. Jesus commands us to serve as He serves.
April 1-Easter Go! (Matthew 28:16-20)

sends them out to change the world. Are we ready to go?

Each year, APC participates in the
One Great Hour of Sharing offering on Easter Sunday. Started in 1949 by an ecumenical group of clergy, the One Great Hour of Sharing was a radio broadcast one Saturday evening for an hour during which this ecumenical gathering encouraged raising funds for the relief of those impacted by World War II. Over the years, the OGHS offering in our denomination – the Presbyterian Church USA — supports its work in the areas of disaster assistance, hunger and the self-development of people. Every time there is a disaster around the world and PCUSA responds in some way, we are responding as well. In PCUSA, the One Great Hour of Sharing offering is all about Sharing resources and Changing Lives! Thank you for your generous support of this effort.
Please Make Checks Payable to APC!
Starts up again on January 18th!
