Have you ever felt like you needed a spiritual revival but didn't know where to start? We often think repentance requires a long, rehearsed apology to God. But looking at the story of the Prodigal Son, we see a Father who runs to meet us while we are still far off, interrupting our groveling speeches to throw a celebration. Revival might just mean "coming to your senses" and realizing you have a home ready to welcome you back. If God is more interested in celebrating your return than hearing your perfect apology, what is stopping you from running home today?

FAITHWORK ASSIGNMENT: Reflect on the idea that spiritual revival often begins not with a dramatic event, but simply when we come to our senses while far from God. Consider that like the prodigal's father, God is not interested in rehearsed speeches of apology, but rather in immediately celebrating your return. Take time to meditate on the realization that faith is knowing you have a Father and a true spiritual home to return to whenever you are ready.
