FAITHWORK ASSIGNMENT:
True freedom is not a free-for-all, but rather comes from attaching ourselves to God's principles and practicing a disciplined way of life. Consider what habits of discipline you can adopt to experience deeper freedom in your faith. Remember that God's initial rescue is unconditional, but a sustained relationship with Him involves rigorous demands and obedience to His Covenant. Reflect on whether you are actively listening to and keeping God's commandments in your daily life. Following Jesus is not just a sheltered structure we live inside, but a rigorous habit we must continually practice through worship, generosity, and service. Determine how you are actively practicing the habits of following Jesus to become a more devoted disciple.
