Solely Sermons | The Unseen Author
Sermon Series: The Story
Sermon: “The Unseen Author”
Scripture: Genesis 45:4-8
Preacher: Rev. Dr. Stephen Heinzel-Nelson
Sometimes the worst nightmares serve as the prelude to extraordinary blessings. Life rarely unfolds smoothly. Through the biblical narrative of Joseph, we discover how the Creator operates as an unseen author during our deepest valleys. Even when circumstances suggest otherwise, God is good and actively working for our benefit. By trusting His invisible hand, we learn that our character must rise above our situations. Discover how to navigate unexpected detours with resilient faith. #FaithJourney #BiblicalWisdom #ChristianLiving
FAITHWORK ASSIGNMENT:
God is powerfully present even when He seems silent, actively working behind the scenes. Take time to consider how you can trust His unseen hand during unexpected trials. Remember that what others intend for harm, God can use for ultimate good because He is fundamentally good. Reflect on where you need to look for His goodness in your current struggles. Finally, you possess the freedom to choose your attitude and make the right choices in any situation. Decide how you will let your character, rather than your challenges, define your next step.
SERMON SERIES
Have you ever wanted to read the Bible? Or wondered what it's really all about? Here's your chance. Beginning September 20th, we are reading through the narrative of Scripture together, as one church family, over one year. "The Story" is the Bible's own text, arranged in 31 easy-to-read chapters (with some sections edited or summarized) that let the grand sweep of the narrative shine through – from creation, through Moses and David, to the Messiah Jesus and the birth of the Church.
