Our Stepping Stones program, designed children in 1st and 2nd grade, meets on Thursdays from 5:15 - 6:30 pm. We gather in Schulte Hall and then move to the balconies overlooking the Little Tree lawn and playground. We hope to spark an interest in musical discovery, teach children the fundamentals of music, help them identify their God-given gifts, hear Bible stories and learn simple Biblical truths, and involve them in age-appropriate Service Projects. This program, which is “more than a choir,” is a “stepping stone” on their faith journey which is also a step toward participation in our ROCK program as we mix Bible stories, crafts, games, and service into the weekly format!
