Worship with us LIVE!
Lenten Sermon Series: The Table
Sundays, Starting March 9th
The Gospels are full of stories of Jesus sharing meals with disciples, friends, and even tax collectors and Pharisees. In one moment he's multiplying bread to feed a whole crowd, next he's relaxing with his inner circle, and then he's telling curious elites stories about even greater banquets. These stories culminate in "the last supper" on the night before his crucifixion; a meal he invites his followers to continue eating long after his resurrection. Join us during the season of Lent, as we explore the rich imagery and symbolism of the table -- and how it speaks to our lives today.

4/6 - Fasting as Solidarity with the Poor
We've been talking all about feasting this Lent -- exploring what it means to share meals and participate in fellowship and community around the table. But what does it truly mean to "live justly" (Micah 6:8) around the table? How can abstaining from food be an act of solidarity with the poor? Join us as we learn from John Mark Comer (founder of Practicing the Way) in his engaging and practical video teaching about fasting to stand with the poor.

4/13 - From Prison Pipeline to Stable Community: Meet WorkWell!
Founded by the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, the WorkWell Partnership provides life skills and job training to people in Mercer County who have been released from prison, or whose lives have otherwise been affected by the justice system.
Join our panel to learn about the challenges people face on their journey to reentry and how WorkWell offers crucial support. WorkWell board members, along with a WorkWell graduate, will give a short presentation, followed by time for questions.
From job search assistance to connecting participants with social services such as healthcare and food stamps, WorkWell plays a critical role in rebuilding lives and fostering community. This support is made possible by the tireless work of staff members, volunteers, and a robust network of community partners.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about WorkWell’s exciting mission and how you can get involved in making a difference for those who need it most.
