Lent 2022
We are excited to welcome Luke Maxted as he teaches our Lenten Adult Education class: “Jesus, the Suffering Servant.” The class will meet Sundays at 9:45 am, starting March 6, in Schulte Hall.
For the six weeks of Lent we will take a look at Isaiah’s Songs of the Suffering Servant. In four passages Isaiah shares a vision of a person who is willing to go to any length to do God’s will and serve God’s people. We’ll consider these passages in the light of Jesus’ ministry and how they help us to understand his ultimate servanthood. Come join us!
Luke Maxted is a fellow with UrbanPromise International where he and his wife Kelly have been approved to launch Urban Promise UK in their home town of London later this year. Luke studied at London School of Theology where he earned both his Bachelor’s degree and a research Master’s in Matthew’s Gospel. He lives in Camden, NJ with his wife and 2 sons.
