We believe faith is a journey, not a destination: Fellow travelers welcome.
We offer a variety of spiritual growth opportunities to choose from, including Adult Education classes, Small Groups, and separate programs and retreats for men and women, and many other fellowship opportunities.
Our hope is that these programs will spark your interest and ignite within you a deeper awareness of the spiritual issues of our time, a deeper understanding of God’s teachings in the Scriptures, and a deeper love of Jesus Christ.

Adult Sunday School
Great differences exist between Jesus’ birth narratives found in the Gospel of Matthew (1:18 – 2:23) and the Gospel of Luke (1:5 – 2:40). Some scholars suggest that these differences exist because the two authors wrote their accounts as literary overtures, sounding themes to be developed later in their narration of Jesus’s ministry—themes like Jesus as the New Moses (Matthew) and Jesus as Champion of the Poor (Luke). Over Advent, join Pastor Lindsay and local Presbyterian pastor, Rev. Dr. Byron Shafer, as they explore these claims and ideas.
Small Groups
At APC we believe that in order to grow spiritually, you have to be connected in relationship. Other people challenge, encourage, teach, stretch, and love us. In short, they help shape us to look more like Jesus. We encourage everyone to participate in a small group where this transformation can happen!
We would love to have you be a part of our next round of small groups! Most of our small groups meet three times a month on a weeknight in a group member’s home or at the church. Our current session is running now through the week of December 3, and most groups will be following along with the fall sermon series, “He Gets Us.” and “Inheritance”.
