Freedom is God’s intended reality for all people, a reality we all long to fully experience. Yet, what it means to be free is elusive and complex. The scriptures offer us this promise: where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Through the cross of Christ and the gift of the Spirit, God sets us free from all that enslaves. Yet, contrary to what our culture defines as freedom, this freedom from is not a free-for-all. Freedom in Christ is also a freedom for. It is freedom for following Jesus, for freely loving one another as he freely loved us. Join as we explore the book of Galatians and the promise of freedom in Christ.
